The African giant snail, also called as the giant tiger land snail, is the largest snail from its family.It measured 39.3 cm (15.5 inches) from snout to tail when fully extended. Its shell length was 27.3 cm (10.75 inches) and it weighed exactly 900 grams (2 pounds).
